Nutriya Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nutriya collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Nutriya mobile application and related services. Nutriya is a nutrition and meal-planning app. It is not a medical device, and it does not replace advice from a physician, dietitian, or other qualified health professional.

3. AI Meal Generation

Nutriya may use third-party AI services to generate meal plans, repair meal data, validate user-provided food input, and improve meal variety. To do this, we may send relevant nutrition profile details, preferences, goals, included or excluded foods, cuisine choices, and meal prompts to those services. We avoid sending information that is not needed for the meal-generation request.

4. Apple HealthKit

If you choose to connect Apple HealthKit, Nutriya requests permission only for supported metrics used in the tracking experience. HealthKit data is imported only after you grant permission. You can manage or revoke Health permissions in the iOS Settings app. Nutriya does not use HealthKit data for advertising or sell HealthKit data.

You may sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. Those providers may share account information such as your name, email address, provider identifier, or profile photo depending on your choices and their policies. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Purchases are handled through Apple StoreKit. Nutriya does not receive your full payment card number. We receive purchase and entitlement information needed to verify your subscription, prevent fraud, and unlock paid features.

We use service providers to operate Nutriya, including Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, database storage, server functions, remote configuration, logs, and hosting. We may also use Apple, Google, Facebook, email delivery infrastructure, and AI service providers as needed to provide app functionality. These providers process information on our behalf or according to their own terms when you use their services directly.

We retain account, profile, meal-plan, subscription, support, and tracking information for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Some logs and backups may be retained for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

You can update many profile and preference values inside the app. You can revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information, subject to identity verification and legal limits. If you delete or request deletion of your account, some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, payment records, legal compliance, or backup integrity.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including Firebase authentication, access controls, encrypted network transport, and server-side validation. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Nutriya is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live, including countries that may have different data protection laws. By using Nutriya, you understand that information may be transferred and processed as described in this Policy.
